IF YOU ARE A PROFESSIONAL WOMAN OF COLOR
I am going to say something that you rarely say out loud to your clients, colleagues or let alone your boss:
you’re exhausted!
I want to let you in on a secret. You don’t have to be.
let me show you how.
ALLISON JNO-BAPTISTE, ACC, PHR, HR CONSULTANT, TALENT EXPERT, PEOPLE WHISPERER
PROFESSIONAL WOMAN OF COLOR . . .
Navigating your own business or career within your organizations can be tough.
AND HERE’S WHY.
Philosophy
After many years of experience, I have observed that the stakes are much higher for women of color in these spaces.
You struggle with:
BIAS
NOT BELONGING
INAUTHENTICITY
IMPOSTER SYNDROME
FEELING UNAPPRECIATED
FEELING UNDERVALUED
ORGANIZATIONAL OR CULTURAL “FIT”
No one really talks about the psychological effects of being a woman of color who leads within an organization or runs her own business.
You cycle through a series of emotions: pain, fear, frustration, paranoia, excitement, motivation, accomplishment and resentment. It’s hard.
The truth be told…it’s exhausting. But let me let you in on a secret.
You are not alone. I am here to help you!

NO ONE IS YOU AND THAT IS YOUR
superpower.
-unknown
YOU are different.
That is your superpower.
You are talented, competent, qualified and constantly raising the bar.
I believe that “showing up” as your authentic self and speaking truth to power will serve you.
It is key to success.
I know there are times that your voice is not received well. I’m here to provide you with the tools to achieve a breakthrough.
I believe that revealing your authentic self and boldly sharing your gifts, talents and DIFFERENCE- serves you. This will lead to career and your business success.
Showing up and other ways does not serve you or the others you have been placed to serve.
Hi I’m
allison jno-baptiste
I’m a HR Professional with over 17 years of experience in both the private sector and Higher Education and I am a Leadership Coach.
I spent many years navigating the nuances of complex organizational cultures, juggling multiple priorities and leadership personalities. I have always celebrated unique viewpoints, prospective backgrounds and differences.
However, as I continued to climb slowly, inching closer to that seat at the table. I realized that many others didn’t necessarily feel the same way- or want me there because of my “difference”.
As a woman of color in a leadership role I’ve developed strategies to overcome these challenges through channeling my authentic voice.
Now, I’m paying it forward and sharing all of my strategies with you. You do know that you’re AMAZING right? You ARE that girl! You SHOW up and bring your “A” game.
You don’t compromise. You get the work done while juggling all of the other “things” and there are times when you are undervalued and misunderstood.
Let’s focus on working on a strategy with clear action steps to help you. I will help you advocate for yourself without you having to sacrifice your true essence, well-being and joy.
They say it takes a village; my ultimate goal is to help navigate through these rough waters and chart your course. There is no one else out there just like you, and who does it the way you do. I am thrilled to have you become a member of my tribe.
see you soon,
allison

What is your organization turnover rate? Scratch that. Why are your turnover rates for professionals of color so high?
Companies spend millions of dollars on Diversity initiatives. We all BELONG right?
Let’s bottom line this. I have spent over a decade assessing organizational cultures. The problem is not rooted in recruiting super talented people. It’s in keeping them.
Let’s talk about your organizational culture and where it falls short.
